Minimum Qualifications
Investment Analyst IV (Senior Investment Analyst)
- Graduation from an accredited college or university in a bachelor’s degree with major coursework in finance, accounting, mathematics, business administration, or a related field.
- Four (4) years of total investment experience in private markets, preferably at an endowment, foundation, OCIO firm, family office, fund of funds, investment bank, consulting firm, or a similar organization allocating capital to external investment managers.
Investment Analyst V (Investment Associate)
- Graduation from an accredited college or university in a bachelor’s degree with major coursework in finance, accounting, mathematics, business administration, or a related field.
- Six (6) years of total investment experience in private markets, preferably at an endowment, foundation, OCIO firm, family office, fund of funds, investment bank, consulting firm, or a similar organization allocating capital to external investment managers.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred MBA, JD, or other graduate degree.
Private equity / venture capital experience.
Substitutions
One additional year of the full-time minimum experience as stated above may substitute for each year (30 semester hours) of the required education with a maximum of 120 semester hours (four years).
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS
The following certifications are preferred: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA); Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
A valid Texas (or state of residency) driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record are a condition of employment. Applicants offered an interview must present the following documents at or before the interview: A state issued driving record for the last 36 months; valid Texas driver’s license (or state of residency driver’s license); and current proof of automobile insurance.

In this role you will
Investment Analyst IV (Senior Investment Analyst)
- Assist Senior Portfolio Managers and the CIO in sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring external managers in the private equity market; contribute to asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management.
- Support the senior team in sourcing and underwriting new fund investments and co-investments.
- Conduct ongoing analysis and monitoring of existing portfolio.
- Participate in investment due diligence on prospective opportunities, including qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment strategy, process, portfolio construction, organization, and performance.
- Prepare investment memos and present during Investment Committee and other internal/external meetings.
- Lead portfolio reporting efforts, including maintaining internal databases, preparing periodic portfolio reviews and creating materials for internal Investment Team and Board meetings.
- Assist Senior Portfolio Managers and the CIO with developing opportunistic and strategic investment themes and special projects, and prepares reports and presentations.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and manager annual meetings, fostering relationships and upholding TTSTC’s brand and reputation.
- Participate in internal and/or external training and development opportunities.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Investment Analyst V (Investment Associate)

- Lead investment due diligence on prospective opportunities, including qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment strategy, process, portfolio construction, organization, and performance.
- Lead internal projects, including macro research, market mapping, etc.
- Prepare investment memos and present during Investment Committee and other internal/external meetings.
- Lead portfolio reporting efforts, including maintaining internal databases, preparing periodic portfolio reviews and creating materials for internal Investment Team and Board meetings.
- Supervise analysts on fund or co-investment underwriting or projects.
- Assist Senior Portfolio Managers and the CIO with developing opportunistic and strategic investment themes and special projects and prepares reports and presentations.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and manager annual meetings, fostering relationships and upholding TTSTC’s brand and reputation.
- Other related duties as assigned.
